3 House of #EdTech Resolutions for 2016

2016 is going to be a very important year for me professionally so in order to make myself more accountable for my goals and desires, I thought it would be a good idea to make them public and allow you to hold me to my goals.

At first glance, the items below may appear to be self-centered but I assure you that while they are important to me they are all for you.

Write My Book

My wife and the Ed Justice League helped me work through my inner struggle of whether or not to write a book. With their clever and careful prodding, I have decided that I will be writing and releasing my first book in 2016.
Some people will say that you should just start to write and worry about the title later but I’ve never been conventional. The tentative title of my yet-to-be-written work is, “I Like To Say Stuff and You Can Too!”
You can look forward updates in the coming weeks and months as well as special previews of the content right here on the website.

Connect with My Listeners

As a podcaster, I make a point of putting great effort into creating each episode of the House of #EdTech podcast. I have mentioned many times during the show’s run that I am thankful for every listener I have. The iTunes ratings and reviews always encourage me to continue creating for you and I want to give you, even more, value and conduct a number of virtual meet-ups with listeners so I can continue to develop the community and learn even more from those of you who have welcomed me into your lives and your routines.

Pursue My Passion

This might sound silly but…
I am a teacher who enjoys teaching teachers. My professional goal is to secure a position that allows me to work with teachers and coach educators in the integration of technology into their classrooms. I want to work at the district level and have a voice in the decision-making process as it pertains to technology and curriculum.

I am taking the initial steps to this goal through Rowan’s NJTOP as I pursue my Supervisor certification and look to take my career in the administration area of education.

Please share your education or technology resolutions in the comments below.

I’d love to help you achieve your goals in any way I can.

Thanks for reading, viewing, and sharing!
