Virtual Teacher

Christie Cloud is a seasoned virtual teacher with twenty-two years of experience in education. She was recognized in 2022 as both a GaETC Rising Star and the Nearpod North Star Educator of the Year. Her work has been highly praised at conferences and was described at GaETC as “a shining example of how technology should be integrated into the classroom for effective instructional purposes.” Christie was recently named the 2023 Empower Teacher of the Year; additionally, she is an adjunct professor at Thomas University where she teaches the Integration of Classroom Technology to tomorrow’s teacher candidates. Christie is an enthusiastic supporter of edtech and believes in its potential to enhance student learning experiences.
