I’m joined on this episode by Derek Larson and Lynn Smargis (both former guests) LIVE from Utah’s Coalition for Education Technology Conference. Episode sponsor Kyte Learning supported my trip to Utah for the 2-day conference. In addition to creating this episode, I also presented three PD sessions which included, Podcast Bootcamp, How to Support THAT Teacher and Social Media for Educators.

DANI SLOAN – Dani Sloan is a technology specialist with expertise in using social media in the classroom. She has a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education and a Master’s in Instructional Design and Educational Psychology from the University of Utah, where she is currently an Adjunct Instructor teaching technology integration to educators. Dani was a member of the organizing committee for Utah’s first EdCamp and is enthusiastic about sharing new online tools, using iPads and Chromebooks in classrooms, and learning to unplug at home. @UCET President
Dani’s enthusiastic about promoting innovation in classrooms, maker spaces, social media, and teachers being in control of their own PR. She’d like to learn how to unplug at home and manage her email hoarding. I like to spend time with my family and friends, read, listen to podcasts, and watch shamelessly bad television.
