I also now officially have my Master’s Degree from Caldwell University! I reflect on the experience of higher education over the last few years and my thoughts on completing this chapter of my life and learning.
Matthew Blackman teaches AP Physics at Madison (NJ) High School and over the last five years he has taken an interest in educational gaming and game design. In addition to using tools like YouTube he has also incorporated games that he designs into his curriculum. His game design company is the Universe and More.

My Priorities
As much as I love teaching and technology, ultimately the important things in my life are my family and the moments I share with them. There is no website or web tool that is cooler or more hip than my wife. There is no app or conference more important than my son. He is a two year old with so much energy and a day with him teaches me much more than another workshop on Google.
What are your priorities as an educator?
How do you balance your professional commitments with all other areas of your life?
