Video allows us as teachers to connect with students in a different way. Here are 10 tips that will soon have you making great instructional videos:

• #1 Forget the headset.
• #2 Keep it short.
• #3 Prepare well and then wing it.
• #4 Position the camera above your eyes.
• #5 Location, location, location.
• #6 Move it out.
• #7 Look right at the camera lens. Looking anywhere else looks weird. Your audience will think you have an avoidance problem.
