Cade Somers and Michelle Shelton are both English teachers from Oxford High School (Alabama). They are the co-hosts of the Across the Hall Podcast and in our conversation, they provide insight into their use of education technology in the English classroom.
Cade’s a corny-humored transplanted Hoosier who loves spending time with his wife and three sons. He enjoys playing basketball, running, and playing front-yard Wiffle ball where he amazingly never strikes out. He’s been sucked into the world of podcasting to now crave every learning opportunity it provides (and every moment of torture his second-hand-hearing children endure). His current top 5: Ask Pat, Under the Influence, House of EdTech, Wired Educator, and The Art of Manliness.
Michelle has taught English for over seventeen years. Over the course of her career as an educator, she has taught at both the junior high and high school levels.
