I talk openly about my challenges as a podcaster and content creator.
Welcome back to another episode of House of #EdTech!
In this episode, we’re hitting the reset button. After a reflective break and some meaningful conversations, including a recent chat with Tom Mullaney on episode 246, I’m excited to bring you fresh insights and thoughtful reflection on AI in education.
Generative AI is making waves in education, and for good reason. In this segment, I reflect on my recent conversation with Tom Mullaney and share my thoughts on the transformative potential of AI in the classroom. I talk about how generative AI can enhance learning experiences by personalizing education, streamlining administrative tasks, and aiding in data analysis. However, I also discuss the need to remain cautious, addressing concerns about the digital divide, the risk of losing the human touch, and the importance of ethical considerations in AI deployment. I encourage you to embrace AI with a critical and informed approach, ensuring it serves all students equitably.
This episode also marks a new chapter for the podcast. The time elapsed since episode 246 wasn’t entirely planned, but it was necessary. I usually only take a break at the end of the calendar year, but this unexpected pause gave me time to think about the future of the show. As we move forward, expect some exciting changes and new directions that will continue to keep House of #EdTech at the forefront of educational technology discussions.
