Google Slides Closed Captions

Turn on Closed Captions when presenting Google Slides! This is a really cool feature that you might not even realize you have access to. When you enter presentation mode for Slides you will see the CC icon button in the bottom menu of presentation mode. Then, provided you have a microphone that is detected your presentations will now be captioned with what ever you’re saying. This is great if you’re presenting in class or at a conference. You could also record a presentation with screen capture software and then you would have your captions embedded within the video. Is this perfect? No. For example if when I say Nesi it comes up as NESSIE. You also have to speak clearly.

I encourage you to try this with your next Google Slides presentation and let me know how it goes!
